GATTO Wood Oven: Experience Authentic Wood-Fired Delights in Toronto

The pasta, the drinks and ambience was amazing! Definitely coming back again to try their pizza. The servers and staff is so polite and made the experience 10x better.

Lovely lil place that I walked by for years and don’t know why I never tried until now. The place is cozy and with this fall like spring we’re having it was great to get some heat from the very well used pizza oven! The pizza selection is great, in addition to the classics they have a few that are completely different from what you would get in most places. The crust is extraordinary and each bite is just perfect. I also got the gnocchi with chicken, delicious and the proportion with meat was just right. I will definitely make my way here again

One word—Amazing! Excellent service and the food was scrumptious. We ordered the Apollo Pizza because it was the pizza that placed them on the top pizzas of the world competition. I can see why, it was juicy, tasty and flavourful. It made me think I had been transported to Italy! Anyways please try this hidden jem of a restaurant because it was fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience!

The restaurant felt cozy with a very welcoming atmosphere. The waiters/waitresses were very kind, accommodating, and efficient. I had the prosciutto, rucola, pomodorini pizza and the rucola salad. Both were absolutely delicious and I'd definitely recommend this place to friends and family!

Such a lovely family-run restaurant with a cozy, welcoming vibe. We tried the Apolo pizza and the truffle mushroom lasagna—both were absolutely delicious! The pizza had the perfect crust and tasty and a little spicy toppings, while the lasagna was rich, flavorful, and beautifully layered. You can really taste the care they put into their food. Highly recommend for a satisfying meal!

Came across this great pizza place while looking for a quick bite to eat. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, with warm lighting and a friendly staff that made me feel right at home. The menu had a wide variety of pizza options, from classic margarita to creative toppings and perfectly crispy crust. The prices were also reasonable, making this spot a great value for the quality of food and atmosphere. We were super pleased with every dish. The starter bread was amazing (and this is coming from us two patrons who are both lifelong bakers/bread makers) which I assume is also used for their pizza dough. We got the kale salad, seafood pasta and pesto pasta and everything was amazing. The staff were lovely too. We can’t wait to come back!

Excellent Italian restaurant in Bloor West. They were very kindly giving out vouchers for free kids meals during a recent Halloween activity organized by the Bloor West BIA. We went along expecting we might get a modest kids meal and not much else for free; how wrong we were - the kids each had their own personal pizza (~10") which was more than enough for dinner with plenty left over for lunchboxes the next day. On top they got fresh juices. We ordered pizzas ourselves, well made and wood fired. Beers were good and not unreasonably priced at around $10 for a full pint. Only suggestion might be to consider a reasonable house wine option - maybe a carafe of house red or white would be a good feature for a family restaurant like this? Instead wine started at $16 per glass. In any case we had a fantastic time, lovely service, and will definitely be coming back with our 3 kids (7, 5 and 3)
